Email Marketing Tips and TutorialsEmail Marketing Tips - The Solution To The Email Deliverability ProblemBy: Simon AkersThe state of email deliverability has reached epidemic proportions and gets worse with every passing day. If you run a newsletter or ezine you may have noticed that as many as 60% of recipients are not receiving any emails (depending on which internet service provider most of your leads use) even if your messages have a spam rating of zero. It has now reached the point where as much as 70% of all email messages are spam and 10 out of 12 messages reviewed are considered spam. Its now harder than ever to deliver messages to the main internet service providers. But there is a way to track exactly what is happening to your messages and find out where they are going by using a service called Delivery Monitor which provides valuable real time information about your campaigns. It uses "audit addresses" which are email addresses that they own and use for reporting purposes (it currently checks 30 of the top email providers). All you have to do is add the "audit addresses" to your auto responder so that Delivery Monitor can track the messages that you send and create a detailed delivery report. This process not only advises you if your messages were blocked, sent to a spam folder, or delivered to the inbox, but also indicates if deliverability to a particular internet service provider changes during the course of a campaign. It provides real time feedback about deliverability issues based on what end users actually see in their email accounts and indicates if deliverability problems arise during a campaign, so you can pause the mailing until the issues are resolved.
By using this service you can dramatically improve your email deliverability and ensure that more messages get through to your subscribers, resulting in more sales and more profits. You can also try out the service for a full 30 days.
